Verona, excellent example of Italian urban dimensions, becomes the world capital for public transport in medium small cities and extra-urban areas.
The cooperation between UITP, ASSTRA and Veronafiere will lead to the first edition of the Regional Transport Days, on 18th and 19th November 2009, an international conference held in conjunction with Bus & Bus Mobility Business, the International bus & coach expo organized by Veronafiere (18 - 21 November 2009).

The RTD programme
The Regional Transport Days - expected to welcome more than 400 delegates from all over the world - will study the specific requirements of public transport in medium-small cities and it will also analyse the possibilities for development supporting local tourism through, for example, waterborne transport and the use of secondary railway lines.
In cooperation with UITP, ASSTRA and Veronafiere this first edition of the Regional Transport Days, on 18th and 19th November 2009, will be held in conjunction with Bus & Bus Mobility Business, the International bus & coach expo organized by Veronafiere (18 - 21 November 2009).
Reserved only to registered participants to the RTD programme, the sessions of the conference will deal with specific issues which will have a training part and successful case study for each single sphere. Five seminars will cover different subjects including marketing, information, technology, the missing link, and cost efficiency.

EXPOFORUM
The Expoforums are interactive presentations, made by Exhibitors of the Bus&Bus Mobility business exhibition. They are dedicated to introduce new mobility and business solutions. Scientific coordination will be carried out by UITP and ASSTRA which will select issues and speakers. Expoforums will take place in a dedicated convention hall within the Bus&Bus Mobility Business fairground and will be open to RTD participants and all visitors.
